Following a brilliant performance of veteran artist Sweet Kid at Juliana’s concert on August 19, there have been calls for him to reconsider his stance and perform again.

Among those asking the singer to make a come back is guitarist Aziz Azion. He argues that he (Sweet Kid) still has the voice and the fans

After the concert, the “my oxygen” singer took to his social media handles to appreciate and  call his long-time friend back on the stage.

“After a long time no wedding no shows, he was a surprise too last time. Sebo my muyimbi #Sweetkid, thanks for the good performance last night. We need you back on stage,” he posted.

In an interview, the “pain killer” singer revealed that he was so surprised to watch the audience sing alongside Sweet Kid and jump up as though he was trending at that moment. He said he was overwhelmed and on behalf of the fans, he had to call him back into active music.

“On that day, I realized that people still love him and know his music as if he sang them yesterday. I saw how they were responding to his music and I was convinced to request for his come back from retirement. I believe he can do it because he still has the fans, the voice, and the energy,” he said.

Sweet Kid( real name Moses Serwadda) rose to prominence in 2004 with his hit song mama Brenda. He enjoyed his prime from 2004 to 2010. He is known for songs such as; sirikyusa, kibakibi featuring Bebe Cool, Sanyi Lyange, Kisaati and so many more.
