The B2C soldiers aka Kampala Boys have said all is set for their concert slated for August 19 at Freedom City in Namasuba on Entebbe Road.

Addressing journalists during a press conference at Pike House at the Vision Group head offices in Kampala on July 18, the musicians said they are only waiting for D-day.

Vision Group is one of the sponsors of the concert. B2C comprises Ssali Peterson aka Bobby Lash; Delivad Julio aka Julius Kasagga and Mr Lee aka Richard Mugisha.

“It’s our pleasure that Vision Group has agreed to partner with us again. We partnered with Vision Group in 2018 and our show was a success. We are optimistic that our show is going to be a success under the sponsorship of Vision Group,” said Bobby Lash.

He said since the lockdown, they have learnt a lot of new things that they will share with their supporters.

Bobby Lash revealed that some of these will be shared at the Bride and Groom Expo, which will take place at UMA Multi-purpose Hall from July 29-31, where they will perform and at their concert.

Delivad Julio appealed to their fans to come in large numbers and support their concert.

“We call upon all our supporters to come in large numbers at the Vision Group Bride and Groom Expo and learn more about how you can spend less on your wedding,” Julio added.

Dorah Namaala, a Bukedde TV presenter, appealed to the viewers of Bukedde TV and Urban TV, as well as listeners of Bukedde FM and readers of New Vision and Bukedde newspapers, among others, to come and learn more about how they can prepare for weddings.

She urged the supporters of the B2C to come and support their concert at Freedom City.

“The last time we hosted the B2C at the Vision Group head offices was in 2018 when they had a concert and Bukedde, under the Vision Group, were their sponsors. Please come and support our musicians. Let’s promote the Ugandan brand,” Namaala said.

She added: “By reading the Bukedde paper, watching Bukedde TV, or listening to Bukedde FM, one will stand a chance of winning a ticket to the show.”
