Singer Hajarah Namukwaya alias Spice Diana has enjoyed a meteoric rise. One of the highlights of her illustrious career is appearing on the iconic New York Times Square Billboard.
She becomes the fourth Ugandan singer to appear on it after Eddy Kenzo, Bobi Wine, and Azawi. In an exclusive interview with The Kampala Sun, she reveals that it is the best news she has woken up to in the recent past. “I initially thought it was photoshop,” but it is real, she quips.
The singer couldn’t hide her excitement as she posted on her social media platforms saying; “My country people your ka spice at Times Square repost Prime Music Partner with kame report Listen to ‘Body’ by Spice Diana on Face of Afrobeats Spotify playlist.”
Spice is on the billboard for her collaboration with Nince Henry titled ‘Body.’ Spotify has also declared the song, ‘Faces of Afrobeats.
