Shanita Namuyimbwa aka Bad Black has come out of hiding after Dr. Kulthum Nabunya forgave her.
In Facebook post made in Luganda, Kulthum said she forgave the socialite because she doesn’t want her (Bad Black) children to suffer if she is imprisoned again.
In 2012, Bad Black was convicted of embezzlement following a relationship with a British businessman, David Greenhalgh. She was released in 2016.
Bad Black was one of the people that were at the home of the late former Rubaga South MP and also actor Kato Lubwama in Mutundwe, Wakiso on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She revealed that she was a fan of the late Lubwama, but never had a close relationship with him.
In an interview with journalists, Bad Black also seemed to express remorse “because of the respect she has for the late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata,” the ex-husband of Dr. Kulthum.
“I apologise because of the respect that Mr. Muzaata had as a big Muslim personality and I promise to them (Kulthum and new husband Acram Gumisiriza) that I will not use social media or any other media platform to offend them,” she said.
Nabunya and her husband Acram had dragged Bad Black to Police over claims of cyber harassment.
The case is registered at Central Police Station on file Sd. Ref13/03/06. They accuse Bad Black of cyber harassment and insulting the modesty of a woman.
In an earlier post, Acram offered sh5m as a reward for anyone who would arrest Bad Black.
The move came after a relentless attack of the couple from Bad Black, who made many unsavory remarks about their physical shape and how they couldn’t enjoy sex. She also referred about the couple’s hygiene, branding them stinkers.
Interestingly, Bad Black also filed a police case against Acram at Kira Police Station under reference number 44/03/0623.
