Kapchorwa police have detained a one Alex Somin (suspected army deserter), who allegedly stabbed his wife to death on Monday, July 18, over infidelity.
Stella Chebet was reportedly stabbed at about 4:00pm, after Somin suspected that she was having multiple extra-marital affairs. The couple lived in Sirinda village.
Somin was intercepted opposite Kapchorwa Central Police Station on the Kapchorwa Suam road.
The Police appealed to the members of the public not to take the law into their hands, but seek peaceful means of resolving their issues.
