Fast-raising music video director Ace Daniels (real name Daniel Senteza) is on cloud nine after he was nominated for the Famous Teens Awards.
The director has been contacting all and sundry, requesting them to vote for him.
Speaking to The Kampala Sun, Ace Daniels revealed that he had never been nominated for an award before and, therefore, his first nomination was cause for excitement.
“I have to be a happy man. You see, this is my first nomination and I feel so happy about it. Although some people say I am overexcited, I just feel I should be because to me, it’s a big deal,” he said.
On whether he deserved the nomination, Ace Daniels said: “But I have done enough work, my brother. My work speaks for itself and I think I deserve it. People are noticing and appreciating my hard work and craft. I am hopeful that I will take the award home.”
Ace Daniels is up against video directors Biko, Brivian and Syber.
Under Crane Art Films, Ace Daniels has shot videos for big names in the industry.
He shot Gyenvudde by Bebe Cool, Killer Portion by Nince Henry, Ko by Maro, Balisa Maaso by Spice Diana, Darling by Angella Katatumba, Answers by Allan Hendricks, and many more.
The Famous Teens Awards will be held on April 29 at Tavarn Woods in Kabusu, a city suburb.
