The Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) led by its current president and king herself Cindy will next week hold a requiem mass for all the fallen musicians.

The mass will be held on the 2nd November, 2022 according to Cinderella Sanyu.

The goal for this mass is to remember all fallen musicians and their music that died. The mass will be happening at Lubaga Cathedral.

“We shall remember our fallen soldiers the artistes that left us at Lubaga Cathedral. It’s important for us as UMA and musicians to celebrate art and music. You can’t celebrate the present without history,” Cindy said.

“There are many big musicians that left us but are still recognized by the new musicians and talents because of the big legacy and music they left like Philly Bongole Lutaaya,” she added.

“Even if we can never see them again, it’s so important to remember and celebrate them because of what they did for the industry. These people inspired so many young talents and left many legacies.”

“I call upon all musicians to come and attend this mass even if you don’t subscribe to UMA. We need to celebrate our fallen soldiers together as a team.” said Cindy

Lots of fallen musicians like Paul Kafeero, Mowzey Radio, AK 47, Herman Basudde, Philly Bongole Lutaaya, Harriet Kisakye and Livingstone Kasozi will be celebrated come next week at Lubaga Cathedral.
