UK-based Ugandan singer in town for music projects

There is an ever-increasing number of UK- based Ugandan musicians whose musical journey is seeing them come back home for music projects.

The latest among this crop is fast rising and multi-talented singer, Brenjeezy, Brenda Caroline Walugembe.

Word on the grapevine is that the singer who is presently riding high on songs like “Make me Wanna” featuring Kvan, “Ntayaaye”, “You are the one”, is in town to team up with big stars and producers for her latest project.

Although she is yet to officially speak out, we have heard from those close to her that she is here for a big budget music project.  “It is worth millions of shillings.  Those who are going to be part have already been contacted,” the source revealed.

Besides music, the singer has been keen raising awareness about the poverty many children in Africa experience in her new song dubbed ‘Give Me Water, Give Me Freedom, Give Me Life ‘.

“She is not so popular at the moment but she possesses a big heart. Despite releasing a couple of songs and being a renowned singer in the UK, her brand is still developing on the Ugandan local market.

She recently released a video featuring some underprivileged children in Kawempe slums.. The song titled ‘Give Me Water, Give Me Freedom, Give Me Life is about the beauty of Africa, but at the same time it highlights the poverty that many young children in Uganda face

Recently she released the visual of the much-anticipated hit song ‘Make me Wanna’, a love song.  The song has enjoyed a fair share of airplay and is one she expects to use to hoist her to higher echelons in the Ugandan music industry.

The song is a collaboration of Brenjeezy singer Kvan and Herbert Skillz. It was penned down by Mozey Wryta and Kvan produced by Yung Jay.
