The reigning 800m World Champion, Halimah Nakaayi is off to the United States of America.
The UWA Athletics Club star will feature in the Eugene Diamond League on Saturday, 28.
According to her head coach, Addy Ruiter, Nakaayi is in a good shape.
Nakaayi has so far impressed this season 2021/22 to the delight of her coaches and fans.
“She is in a very great shape and looks more likely to win more medals than ever before,” Rogers Ndiwa, UWA Athletics Club coach assessed.

The Global Sports Communication Agency contracted runner has registered a strong win in Germany, medal bracket finishes in France twice, this year alone.
In addition, the Mukono–born prospect won a bronze medal during this year’s World Athletics indoor Championships in Serbia.
A victory or a prudent medal bracket finish in the USA over the weekend will give Nakaayi and her fans hopes ahead of July’s World Athletics Championships held in the same city.
