The Uganda Film Festival (UFF) awards gala at the Uganda Institute of Communication and Information (UICT) in Nakawa, Kampala has commenced with much anticipation and hype.
The gala started at 5:00pm on Friday, June 2 , and guests arrived in glamorous fashion, adhering to the organisers’ instructions.
The official dress code for the event was “red carpet glam with a touch of gold,” adding an air of elegance and sophistication to the occasion.
Renowned filmmakers like Richard Mulindwa, Kabanana, Jerry Ssesanga, Ashiraf Mulima, and many others already graced the event with their presence.
The gala has brought together filmmakers from various spheres, including those from Pearlwood and Uptown.
The UFF is organised by the Uganda Communications Communication (UCC) and it serves as a platform to recognise and celebrate the achievements of talented individuals in the Ugandan film industry.
