As the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, popularly knows and the ASFAs, plot to make a come-back, two years later, the organisers deemed it right and timely to precede the arguably biggest fashion show in the land with what they have dubbed the ASFAs Fashion Weekend.
“The event, slated for November 11, 12 and 13, at Motiv, comes as a platform for young creatives who seek for futuristic opportunities to collaborate and amplify their brands, or simply better understand the fashion markets.” said Brian Ahumuza, CEO of the ASFAS
Through this Fashion Weekend, the first day will see business owners, artists and all fashion creatives exhibiting their work, while engaging in dialogues with fellow creatives and fostering collaborations.
The second day will be a workshop where fashion influencers and business thought leaders will give keynote presentations.
“Our panel of experts will engage the audience in discussions, testimonials, Q&A sessions, inspiring them to take on global fashion markets,” Ahumuza added
The third day will be the much-anticipated announcement of nominees for the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, happening on December 16 at Kampala Serena Hotel, under the theme “The Awakening”
Some of the topics to be discussed during the weekend include, Brand and I protection ,growth and Profitability, retailing, global markets, harnessing collaboration, entrepreneurship and digital ex among others.
