Singer Martha Mukisa had just arrived at Entebbe International Airport from a show in Dubai when she got news that she had won an award for the most downloaded caller tune in a month from July to December 2021.

The Black Magic Entertainment star Mukisa’s Sango song with Eddy Kenzo won the Best Artist in the Reggae/Dancehall category at the grand finale of the MTN CallerTunez awards at the Kampala Serena Hotel on March 30.

To receive the award, Mukisa dashed from the airport, makeup-free, so she could make it on time.

She then had a quick change of clothes in the Serena washrooms, to ready herself for the photo moments.

And indeed, the photographers had a field day taking pictures of her grinning ear to ear.
