TV presenter Robinah Nambooze, a.k.a Robin Kisti isn’t known for being among the modest celebrities out there. It is not surprising that she has quit her job after three months owing to her ‘crazy diva demands.
Word in the corridors at SK Mbuga’s STV is that she tendered in her resignation after just three months after her diva demands were not met.
The singer who threw a social media tantrum when it emerged that NBS TV had sired her nemesis Sheila Gashumba ahead of her, is on the job market again.
Together with Mosh Mulla, DJ Lenox, Kisti has been presenting the “Hot 100 show on the station and according to our sources, she was worth the weight as she added oomph to the show.
However, when the cameras stopped rolling, she would have demands that would make any generous tycoon cringe.
According to different sources, upon joining SK Mbuga’s station, Kisti requested to be given a company car.
She then reasoned that her personal car had minor mechanical faults. Kisti’s pleas were accepted and a branded company car was given to her. It became too comfortable.
When she was reminded, she kept buying time and when the company fleet manager repossessed the car, Kisti threw an almighty tantrum claiming she had been disrespected.
Kisti is said to have resigned in mid-January 2022, leaving Mosh Mulla to present the show alone as STV struggles to find a replacement. “ She is yet to comment about it on her socials but we can bet she will not be coming back at STV,” a source told The Kampala Sun.
After her highly billed Kukyala last year, Robin Kisti hinted that her Kwanjula and wedding to Mark Asiimwe would happen early 2022.
