For the past three (3) editions, Tugende Mu Kikadde (back to the roots) has celebrated legendary artistes who dominated the music industry in Uganda in early 1970’s, 1980s, 90s and early 2000s.
This annual event has given life and platform for legends in a memorable VVIP experience and will return this year on 3rd December at Kampala Serena Hotel with new and exciting legends.
Among these include Sweet Kid, Ziggy Dee, Chance Nalubega, Kabuye Semboga, Eddie Yawe, Betty Mpologoma, Lady Mariam, Akiiki Romeo and others
Besides history being written again, fashion redefined, top oldies stars resurrected, old rich songs re-performed on one the biggest music stage in Uganda, proceeds from this show will empower the elderly.
‘’As part of our humanitarian programs at heart, this year’s event is in aid of supporting or empowering the Elderly communities, said the proprietor, Patrick Kalungi.
Part of the ticket proceeds shall be used to support the Elderly Network Foundation (ENF), our charitable affiliate targeted at helping the older people, claiming for their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty so they can lead dignified lives across urban and rural Uganda he concluded.
