Kabagarame, the weekly meat market located on the Mbarara-Ishaka road in Bushenyi district, returned to Kampala after a two-year hiatus on April 30.
Revellers mainly from the western part of the country closed the month of April in style at the festival at the Uganda Museum in partnership with Bell Lager – the official enjoyments beer.
Shema Municipality MP Dickson Katashumba was seen on phone, calling his constituents in Kampala to come in big numbers since the festival, which had been put on hold for two years due to the COVID-19 outbreak, was now back on.
The festival brings specially prepared meat recipes prepared and served in a traditional setting with locally sourced, farm-fresh, organic ingredients.
