He was supposed to perform a fortnight ago but was hit by COVID-19 shortly after the Road to Kirya Launch in June.
However, on Monday he made it up to his fans with an epic performance at Levels Lounge’s Stress Clinic.
There were performances from comedians and upstarts before he hit the stage. Kirya had renewed vigour as he performed.
Although he has a new album “Road to Kirya” out he mainly went retro. Most of the songs he performed were those his crowd resonated with.
He had them singing along to songs like Busabala, Misubaawa, Entebbe, Akasolo and many more. It was an indulgent session that kicked off shortly past midnight and lasted a whole two hours.
The singer is set for a European tour before he crowns it with a performed at the Kampala Serena Hotel later this year.
