This website has exclusively learnt that Malaika singer Winnie Nwagi’s performances ahead of her maiden concert next month at Lugogo Cricket Oval have been culled.
Her management and concert promoter came to this understanding a few days after announcing her Fire Concert last week on Friday.
“She will only perform at carefully selected traditional and wedding functions. Appearances at other musicians and paid music concerts will be limited as we are creating scarcity and preparing her for a historic show,” a source revealed.
Over the years, Winnie Nwagi’s fans have been pestering her label to stage a concert for their singer but in vain.
With the success of Azawi’s African Music Concert weeks back, the label experienced a back lash from Nwagi’s fans on their failure to stage a concert for the Fire Baby.
