Just hours after the dates for her concert were revealed, singer Winnie Nwagi was engaged in an online spat with certain bloggers who shared the news.
“I don’t need you to advertise for me,” she responded to a thread where they shared her photo and announced the concert dates.
Nwagi’s anger is understandable. During the recently concluded Azawi concert, the particular blog was critical of the whole concert, branding it a flop. They also found fault with Azawi and Nwagi’s dress sense and stage performance.
The Kampala Sun learns that Nwagi’s show dubbed, “Fire concert live,” will happen on 9th September at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
“9th September 2022 Winnie Nwagi Fire Concert live at Cricket Oval Lugogo | KT Events,” read an announcement from Swangz Avenue’s socials.
For Winnie Nwagi it is a breakthrough as she finally gets her long-awaited concert on their events calendar.
Her fans are most definitely loving this news and they must be buzzing. During her performance at Tiwa Savage concert, Nwagi took time off to remind the fans of the same.
