Popular movie actor in Nigeria, Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie has opened up about his presidential ambitions. Over the weekend, the actor put up a long post revealing that he was going to be part of the Nigeria presidential race in 2023.
Writing on his social media handles, the actor told Nigerians that since he started telling people about his dream to lead the country, he has been insulted by many people but he is not ready to give up.
“I the last couple of days, I have been insulted by people all over the world who do not know the reasons for my decision…” he wrote and added, “as a president, I will make good decisions that may not favour certain people, I will provoke the corrupt ones, they will insult me, they will spread negatives about me. And in the face of it all, I will stand firm and unshakable, I will never react in anger nor attack anyone unjustly. I will remain focused on the task of rebuilding our country.”
He asked Nigerians to trust him with power because he is confident that he is good enough to lead them.
“Dear Nigerians, I am that leader that we have all been yearning for!! Stand with me and together we will be victorious, come 2023”. he wrote.
Yul Edochie will contest under the All Progressive Grand Alliance with the slogan, “Give The Youths A Chance”. He is the son of famous actor Peter Edochie and he has featured in movies like The Billionaires, Fada fada, Nobody Ugly, Kachi: My Village Love, Ten Years Later, The Grave, The Ancestors, Passing Money, and many more.
