Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake has made no bones about admiring National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi’s life, starting from his political power to his musical touch.

Well, inspired by Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the legislator is considering starting a music journey.

In a video circulating on social media, he is seen in a studio recording music with Nince Henry, one of the best writers in the country.

Asked about his decision to dive into the music business, Zaake said it was something he has always had in mind and it was time to do it.

Bobi Wine

“I have always been inspired by Bobi Wine and since so many artistes are my friends, I was availed an opportunity to showcase what I could deliver and I took it up. They all said I am good at it and some of them offered to help me record a song and then we went to the studio with Nince Henry,” he explained.

However, Zaake doesn’t know the genre of his music. He kept guessing that it could be hip hop, but finally described it as ragga.

“I do not know many technicalities in music since I am a new entrant. I can rap, but I think my music is ragga,” he said.

It is not clear whether Zaake’s song will be political since he picks inspiration from Bobi Wine or whether it is a love ballad since his wedding bells are ringing.
