Singer Michael Mukwaya, popularly known as Mickie Wine has earned the wrath of National Unity Platform (NUP) keyboard warriors.
This was after the 33-year-old singer and young brother to NUP Principal Sentamu Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) has no footprint in his (Mickie’s) success.
To rub salt in the wound, they (NUP diehards) accuse Mickie Wine of dining with the ‘enemy’ as he made the comments during a sermon at Pastor Bugingo’s House of Prayer International Ministries.
“I am here to let you know that I am inspired by Pastor Bugingo. He has blessed many people and I thank God for that,” he said in part. He also alluded to the fact that Bobi Wine had never contributed even sh500 to precipitate his (Mickie’s) growth.
Whereas Mickie Wine maintains he only went to Canaan Land to launch his upcoming song with gospel singer Levixone Lala, the critics are having none of it.
“So you don’t know Bugingo is a sworn enemy of Bobi Wine and is NUP’s biggest critic?” They fumed.
On his part, Bugingo thanked Mike Wine for honoring his invitation, despite their differences in political ideologies.
