As the days closer to June 3, Uganda Martyrs Day, teams from the Uganda Red Cross have been hard at work, giving pilgrims leg massages as they march to Namugongo, Wakiso district.
The pilgrims have come from far and wide on foot in a symbolic walk so as to experience the martyrs’ pain.
Throughout the days and nights, the Red Cross teams have provided first aid and where need be, rushed sick pilgrims to the hospital.
