Tourism entrepreneur Amos Wekesa has hailed the brains behind the concerts of singers Pallaso and Alien Skin set for today, Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval and Freedom City respectively.
Pallaso’s concert has been organised by Balaam Barugahara and Alien Skin’s by Abtex.
According to Wekesa, the two camps mastered marketing and should be a blueprint for how Uganda is marketed going forward. The pressure they have subjected Kampala to, he said, is the same Uganda should subject the world to.
“I have heard about Pallaso, but never met him and Alien Skin is a new name to me. The guys behind these two understand marketing and that’s how Uganda must be marketed. We need to put the world under similar pressure for Uganda, telling fellows if you haven’t enjoyed Kla, you are a loser,” he tweeted on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
Pallaso physically attacked Alien Skin in May, accusing him of interrupting his Love Fest Concert rehearsals, setting off a chain of events that has now culminated in the two having concerts on the same day – Love Fest Concert and Sitya Danger Concert.
