Singer Jose Chameleone’s manager Mutima (real name Robert Ntuke) has promised to return sh2.5m that an events organiser had accused him of ‘eating’.

According to a one Isaac Kakobya, known as Mango Promotions in Kiboga, Mutima took the money from him as a deposit to have Chameleone on his show in Kiboga on May 28.

“I gave Chameleone’s manager, Mutima, a deposit of sh2.5m, booking Chameleone for my show in Kiboga. After some time, I learnt that the singer was not in the country and I could not have him on my show. I then called Mutima to return my money so I may book another artiste for the show, but till now, he has not given me my money,” Kakobya said.

The Mayanjas have been on the spot a number of times for failing to appear for shows.

In April, Pallaso was forced to clean Masaka City for failing to make it to a show, where he had been booked to perform.

Away from the Mayanjas, this month, May, Cindy was also accused of missing out on a show in Dubai.
