Reggae dancehall sensation KS Alpha (real name Sulaiman Kamulegeya) has returned to the music industry with two releases at once.
The singer wrote great lyrics for the two songs Wanimba and DJ Wange. He produced them and they were mastered at ZiVUGA by Eyezo and Charlie Pro.
The reggae and dancehall feel in the songs brings back the memories of when babes would scream his name, “KS Alpha Di Conquerer” after his tune dubbed Conquered.
In the new releases, he brings another version of dancehall reggae blended with old skool and Jamaican patois.
On why he has been silent, KS said he needed time to understand the new trends in the music industry because it has changed a lot. He was popular in the early 2000s.
“As an old artiste, it’s hard to transition from the old way of doing things to the new way. Today it’s not just about good music, but a lot of other things that come with it,” KS said.
