Kenyans woke up to photos of one of their most celebrated comedians Eric Omondi donning what they called garbage bags. The funnyman is set for comedian Patrick ‘Salvado’ Idringi’s Africa Laughs comedy show today, Friday, October 28 at the Kololo Airstrip.
He shared the photos on social media at Entebbe International Airport wearing a shiny black polythene jacket as if he jetted in expecting bad weather/rain and captioned: “Uganda in a few.”
On Instagram he shared the photos carrying a duffle bag with the caption: “UGANDA, KAMPALA TONIGHT!!!” None of the Kenyans mentioned the fact that he is a comedian and could have decided his part right in Kenya and entered Uganda with a bang.

Omondi has in the last one year trolled Kenyan entertainers, largely musicians accusing them of failing in their craft, right from their terrible sense of fashion to performance and quality of music, the reason even their politicians invite the likes of Diamond Platnumz from neighbouring Tanzania to perform at their campaign rallies.
A section of Kenyans have used this to implore the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) to pick interest in the outfit while some asked Uganda to keep him for good. Ugandans on the other hand are excited he is in the country, maybe their anger will be part of post-show criticism.
