You will just have to excuse singer Karole Kasiita for walking like she has diamonds at the soles of her feet. The singer is on cloud nine after meeting with Nigerian star Tiwa Savage, who promised her a collaboration.
Nigerian singer Dr. Tiwa Savage, real name Tiwatope Savage-Balogun, arrived in Uganda on Thursday afternoon ahead of her concert which lived up to the hype on Friday evening albeit the failing weather.
During a presser, Tiwa Savage said, “If the logistics are fulfilled, and all expenses are met, there is no reason I wouldn’t do a song with her (Karole) a collaboration,” Tiwa Savage said.
Immediately, Karole’s face was lit with excitement and her face was etched with a wide smile. Little wonder when she performed on Friday at the Lugogo cricket oval, it appeared Kasita was auditioning for Tiwa Savage and not performing for the crowd.
Organised by Jos Global and Talent Africa, and sponsored by Tusker Cider, the Tiwa Live in Kampala concert was held under theme, “Who Run The World?”,It featured performances from Winnie Nwagi, Cindy Sanyu, Vinka, Karole Kasita, Sandra Nansambu, Lamu, Laika, Jowi Landa, Sandra Suubi, and DJs Zato and Alisha.
