Janzi Band to celebrate autism day with charity show

Janzi band an Afro fusion, contemporary and World Music band will this weekend give back to the children at The Home Of Hope Uganda in Jinja.

This will be in commemoration of the World Autism Day that is observed every year on April 2.
Under the band’s Janzi 4 Hope affiliate,  this charity event is part of the many off stage activities lined up on the 2009 formed group’s event calendar for this year.
“Music is our power and we are using it to make their lives better ”  said James Ssewakiryanga Junior, popularly known as Sewa Sewa
Our major goal is to put a spotlight on the hurdles that people with autism and others living with the disease face every day. He added.
We are also calling out those that feel touched and are willing to contribute to the same cause, contact us via our social media platforms.Concluded the Band leader Sewa Sewa.
Before the charity proceedings on Sunday, the group along side other performers will entertain revelers at The Nile Village in Jinja on Saturday night.
