National Unity Platform (NUP) party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has mourned vlogger Isma Olaxess weeks after he was gunned down as he headed to his home in Kisaasi, a city suburb, on May 6.

Addressing the youth at the new party offices in Kavulu, Kampala during a gathering dubbed National Youth Convention 2023 on Monday, May 22, Bobi hailed the slain vlogger as someone who spoke the truth.

“Isma Olaxess was a man of his word. He used to speak the truth although sometimes he would say falsehoods about me. May his soul rest in peace. We shall never get back such people who speak the truth,” he said.

Bobi urged bloggers to always speak the truth and not just spread falsehoods.

“We are still waiting for the police report on the death of Isma Olaxess and we expect to hear the truth, “ he added.

The late Isma Olaxess used to support the ruling National Resistance Movement party.
