It is a day when lovers paint their lives with red. In some cases, a few of them who don black and red colours will become mobile “billboards” for the day. It will be a time to make up or break up. For many, it will be a day for spreading love.

Also the weather is likely to be lovely. This is because sunny intervals and isolated showers in southern Uganda will be playing a hide and seek affair. The mornings are likely to be dominated by sunny intervals but this will be cloudy in some parts of the country. In some cases, the cloudy conditions will give away to isolated showers, according to the Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA).

As for parts around Lake Victoria (Tororo, Busia, Bugiri, Mayuge, Iganga, Jinja and Namayingo) are likely to be partly cloudy in the morning with temperatures estimated at 20 degrees Celsius. The late morning will become sunny with temperatures rising to 27 degrees Celsius and isolated showers are expected late afternoon. The temperature is expected to hit 30 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.  The wind strength is expected be light.

This expected to be repeated for Central (Buikwe, Kayunga, Mukono, Kampala, Entebbe, Wakiso, Mpigi, Buvuma and Kalangala). The morning temperature is predicted to be 22 degrees Celsius, southeasterly light. This will rise to 23 degrees Celsius with wind strength described as moderate. In the afternoon isolated showers are expected with 29 degrees Celsius. The wind strength is expected be moderate.

Parts of Nakaseke and Nakasongola are likely to experience thunderstorms in the afternoon. The temperature will rise to 30 degrees Celsius.

In northern Uganda and west Nile, the temperatures are expected to rise to 33 degrees Celsius and with sunny mornings and afternoons.
