Ghetto Kids hosted at US Embassy

Sensational dance group, the Triplets Ghetto Kids, returned from the UK on Tuesday, June 6, after stunning at the Britain’s Got Talent.

Besides the dinner at Onomo Hotel, Nakasero, Kampala organised by the Ministry of Tourism, they were also hosted at the US Mission in Uganda on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

“Look who visited U.S. Embassy Kampala today? We wish Uganda’s Ghetto Kids safe travels & continued success as they set off next for the U.S.A. Keep your heads high & bring the best of Uganda to the world!” the embassy posted a photo on Twitter.

Later that day, June 7, the Ghetto Kids embarked on a journey to the US, where they will perform on different shows and stages.

“Off to the USA,” tweeted the dance group.

Meanwhile, they have also been named ambassadors by insurance company Liberty Uganda, a partnership that will run for three years.

The group of six dancers stormed the finale of Britain’s Got Talent 2023, but lost the £250,000 (about sh1.2b) grand prize to Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn on June 4, 2023.

They hogged headlines in April when a video of them receiving a golden buzzer after an epic stage performance went viral.
