Bedridden and ailing contemporary musician Evelyn Lagu celebrated her birthday on Thursday.
She celebrated the day with her fans,who privately visited her at her new home located in Bujjuko, Wakiso district
Before the day,she reminded her fans and told them about the event and asked all those that have gifts and cash to send them through her mobile money numbers
She said that she is happy to made it to this day because she thought she was going to die
“ I can’t believe God has preserved me for another year. I only want to magnify and dignify his name. I have seen many healthy people losing life and asked myself who am I to be alive today. I mm the only God’s child that he loves and he has shown me mercy and too much with his angels,” she said in a social media post
Her fans contributed sh 4m plus an assortment of other gifts that included cakes and drinks
“I am going to use this money for my kidney medication and for my welfare . I thank all that visited me at my new home. May God reward you abundantly,” she concluded
