Enanga is our Golden Boy-Muruli Mukasa

Ever since he bagged a medal on Heroes Day, last Thursday, Fred Enanga the police spokesperson has been the toast in many places, The latest to join the cheer brigade is Wilson Muruli Mukasa as the acting Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. He describes Enanga as “our Golden” Boy.

During the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Justice Law and Order Sector (JLOS) House along Katalima road, in Naguru, an outskirt of Kampala, the cheery baby-faced Enanga was on every person’s mouth calling him ‘Golden Boy” within the JLOS circles.

Though he was the official Master of Ceremonies (MC) at the event, every speaker whom he was inviting would first ask other guests to spare a second and congratulate the golden boy.

“Lets us first recognize and congratulate golden boy upon his achievement,” the minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs said, as other guests handclapping, prompting the joyful officer to throw salutes each and every time.

Even after the event, many ladies at the event ran to “Golden Boy” pleading for selfies with him, which he couldn’t resist.

The Enanga now aka ‘Golden Boy’, was among the 81 people who were awarded Heroes Day medals on June 9th, 2022, for his diligent contribution to the nation through his line of duty.

Enanga headed the Economic Crimes Department and worked as a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) commander KMP, commander of land protection police unit, and Commander CID administration and training, among others before being appointed to be the mouthpiece of the Uganda Police force.
