Earlier today (Friday) , musician Eddy Kenzo and his family broke the news of the passing on of his elder brother Mande Hassan Kiwalabye.
The deceased was the elder brother to the musician but was a social recluse.
According to the family of the late, he lost his life after severe beatings from thieves that attacked him earlier this week on Monday around areas of Katwe, a Kampala suburb.
Mande was left with severe injuries on his body including fractured ribs and a broken left jaw.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment and first aid along Buganda road but his condition was worrying according to family. He was later on operated and given a few painkillers and discharged.
Mande was rushed to the hospital today morning when his situation worsened but lost his life before he could be saved.
