Even in this era of social distancing, where limited numbers are permitted, hosting a wedding still costs and arm and a leg.  Attend any pre-wedding meeting and when most suggestions come in from members, they often suggest the downsizing of the budgets on DJ’s and entertainment.

For many, the misconception is that any random person can play music.  What many fail to understand is that it is easier said than done.

The foremost responsibility, as many imagine is that a DJ will just play music at one’s reception that will keep everyone involved and having a good time.

Paul Businge the head of business at Power House Deejays  says that the most common mistake people make when choosing a DJ is to overestimate the ease of playing music that keeps a crowd on the dance floor.

“Planning and playing back music is one of the core functions of the DJ; there is so much more that goes on. The Wedding DJ is your entertainment coordinator, and many times the wedding DJ stands in as pseudo-wedding Coordinator,” he says.

He explains that   Power House Deejays is cognizant of that fact and they have come to make weddings affordable. “Holding wedding could cost and an arm and leg. Many run into debt organizing for

the big day, but Power House Deejays, an events brand and label, wants to change the narrative,”

He says that the brand has launched an amazing offer code named, Romeo and Juliet Premium wedding offer that allows people planning weddings to get sound  systems, deejays, silent disco, 30 silent disco headsets, standby generator, 4 cordless microphones and up to 4 dancing sessions for the entourage, all this at a pocket friendly charge.

The brand has been running this offer for some time, although they have now spiced it up with the addition of a four dancing sessions.

The Romeo and Juliet offer was launched on December 1st.

Power House has over 10 deejays from within Uganda and Kenya. The brand has both secular and others who specialize in playing only gospel like Dj Louder House, and Dj Robinkist.

The brand was launched officially two years ago as a DJ label and an academy for deejays but has since spread its wings to multiple things.

Besides offering deejaying services, the brand recently launched Power House Visual to provide videography services.
