The Kampala Sun learns that Andy Skillz real names Andrew Mumanya he has been selected as the Director of Entertainment (Uganda) for the Africa Honour Awards (AHA), which will be held in London, UK later this year.
Information obtained shows that the AHA awards, powered by Think Tank 720 a brainchild of founder and MD Caroline Namugabi are continental awards.
They aim at bringing together a selection of Africans and friends of Africa who have contributed greatly to the continent of Africa and within the diasporas to honour them for their great contributions.
The shortlist will comprise established practitioners young people who are doing amazing things alongside the professionals, entertainers, musicians, educators among others.
“We invite all news, bloggers, media bloggers, media outlets and TVs to come and support this
amazing Honorary Awards and we create history for Africa,” He said.
On whether he would change vocation after being elected director, Andy Skillz said no.
“Each DJ has their niche. I have perfected my niche and taken my craft to another level. It will be mad for me to quit. My audience would not forgive me, he revealed.
