After 13 years, the King of Dancehall has returned to Uganda.
Beenie Man arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 4:00am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Received by the Boy Entertainment, Beenie Man will be live in concert on November 11 alongside Nigeria’s Oxlade, South Africa’s Focalistic, as well as Mellow and Sleeazy and Uganda’s Vinka, Azawi and Winnie Nwagi at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Beenie is expected to address a media conference later today at the Skyz Hotel Naguru in Kampala.
Beenie was last in Kampala in 2009 where he performed at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Cindy joined him on stage to perform his hit song Dude, standing in for Ms. Thing, whilst Jackie of Blu3 stood in for the late Natasja as the Jamaican sang Better Than Dem.
