When TV personality Flavia Namulindwa started a cultural troupe, Dance N Beats, many thought it was a passing fad.

The troupe, which was founded as a cultural organization a few years back for universal unity, cultural practices through music, dance and drama exceeded expectations. They held successful shows at the Kampala Serena Hotel and other high end places; receiving plaudits.

Now they are set for the biggest stage. Information obtained is that for the very first time, they will perform at the 34th Annual UNAA Convention to be held over the Labor Day weekend from September 2nd – 5th 2022 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco, California.

UNAA convention and Trade expo is a prestigious event to attend as it is believed to be the biggest showcase for Ugandans in America.

The debutant cultural troupe will further showcase at 2 other cultural shows in Glendale, California on September 24th 2022, at the Brandview Ballroom.

“Performing at the UNAA Convention is a very big milestone for us. It shows that our work is being noticed even abroad. It has always been the circular artists but we thank God it’s our turn now’ said Mary Flavia Namulindwa one of the directors.

Being our first performance overseas, expect nothing but the best as we are more than determined to put up the best show ever,” She concluded.
