Ugandan comedian Emmanuel Otim alias Napoleone Ehmah is over the moon after learning that he has been nominated for the Zikomo Africa Awards, which will be held in Lusaka, Zambia this year, 2022.

The comedian was nominated in the category Best Comedian East and Southern Africa, where he will be facing Masai Nyota, Hakika Ruben, Katarina Karatu, Mjuni Empire and Lucas Mhuvle all from Tanzania, Xuro Milton from Namibia, William Last KRM from Botswana, Logic Benson from Zambia and Rusine Patrick from Rwanda.

Talking to The Kampala Sun on September 6, Napoleone thanked God for the nomination and asked his fans in Uganda and the world over to vote for him.

“These are the things you dream of as a little boy when you’re starting out in any industry. So, I am definitely elated and proud to carry my country’s flag on an international award platform. I kindly request my fans to show their love for me by voting in big numbers,” he said.

The Zikomo Africa Awards is an international awards ceremony that acknowledges and celebrates individuals and organisations that have contributed positively to the arts and entrepreneurship industries.
