Ugandan siblings Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira performed at the Canada Got Talent (CGT) show yesterday.

The duo who blew away the judges in the previous round with their rendition of Jordin Sparks’ “No Air” were up against a talented lot.

Performing Calum Scott’s ‘You Are the Reason’, the duo impressed the crowd and the CGT judges with their dynamic vocal range

Their performance, a tribute to their mother Julie Birungi, left the judges emotional, especially when her face was flashed on the screen.

Even after their laudable performance and fact that they continue to raise the Ugandan flag high, they never got a bye to the finals.  Their fate will be decided by Canadian voters.

From yesterday’s performances, the CGT judges panel sent singer Stacey Kay and magician Savio Joseph Kellie Loder, Shadow Entertainment, and Courtney Gilmour in the final.

The two-hour live finale show will happen next week on 17th May 2022 on CityTV.com.
